Great company and crew worked with Coast Catalyst Construction on a couple of projects over the years. They built my mom’s house in 2021, and in 2023 they helped us with the foundation and framing on our new home. Have had many friends in construction moment on how well things are done.
Sayre and his team were great to work with—knowledgeable, reliable, and easy to communicate with throughout both projects. The quality of the work was excellent, and when questions or issues came up, they were always straightforward and helpful in finding a solution.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Coast Catalyst Construction to anyone looking for a reliable local contractor.

We had such a great experience working with Sayre and his team. From the beginning, he was professional, easy to communicate with, and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy with the work. The quality of the renovation was amazing, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. It was such a relief having someone we could trust throughout the whole process. We would absolutely recommend Coast Catalyst to anyone looking for a contractor — we would definitely work with them again!

I've worked with various contractors on house renovations as well as on commercial projects. I found that Sayre Neufeld and team / Catalyst Construction were 1) Extremely well organized. (My project was as close to on time and on budget as I have ever experienced) 2) Very honest 3) Easy to communicate with (my needs and wants). Also they have a good group of trade partners.

I've used Coast Catalyst Construction for a number of renovation projects over the years and have always had a great experience. Sayre and his crew are easy to work with, communicate well, and take pride in doing things properly. It's been nice having a contractor I know I can call when something comes up, whether it's a larger renovation or a smaller project. I'd happily recommend Coast Catalyst to anyone looking for a good local contractor.

Sayre and his crew took on a very challenging renovation of our log house and delivered a result that exceeded our expectations. This project required some creative solutions and out of the box thinking and Sayre handled it all in stride. Highly recommend Coast Catalyst Construction, you will be in excellent hands! As a woman engaging with construction companies, I highly recommend Sayre. Sayre listened to what we wanted, he proposed ideas, solved tricky problems and was always respectful and patient, as were the crews on site. They kept the worksite clean and paid attention to details. Quality workmanship! Special shout out to Levi! Thank you for a deck we will enjoy for years and years to come!

We can absolutely recommend Sayre and his crew! They did a fantastic job of building our in-law suite. ON TIME, and under budget! Professional work and left us feeling so well taken care of.
All the workers were great, but Richard and Levi became family to us. Here every day, always offering us wise advice on things we'd carry on doing after they were finished. They went above and beyond to help us through this process!
Never late, worked hard, and we're so happy with the outcome.
Thanks so much to Coast Catalyst for making this a pleasant adventure.

At Cottage Fever Interior Design, I heavily rely on the contractor for their expertise and knowledge of the building code and everything structural. Working with Sayre and his team on a renovation in Comox was seamless. They were great at communicating if they had any questions about the design and followed the plan to a T.
